My name is Carmen Yap Chia Ven and I am a Graphic Design student from Saito University College. I chose to study design to gain the basics and competencies needed to showcase my creativity. I am optimistic about nature that loves art and possess a strong interest in design. I am determined and possess good problem-solving abilities. My philosophy is ‘Hard Work Will Pay Off.
Design Campaign
Julie's new product — Kaya Flavoured Cream Sandwich to encourage people have a breakfast in the morning. A pack of biscuits is easy to carry. You can enjoy your breakfast anytime, anywhere. From this new product, Julie's would like to cooperate with the ‘Better Breakfast Day’ which is held on 25 September.

Digital Illustration
The illustrated portrait that I drew is Twice Dahyun.I used Wacom and Adobe Photoshop to illustrate. I paint with different brush stroke and then use smuge tools to blend it and make it looks smoothly.
Brochure design
This is Covid 19 Brochure Design. I used a lot of yellow warning sign to show that is was a serious situation at this moment. Therefore this bright, sharp colour can catch people eyes to focus on this. I have made a side of the brochure can tear it out to make a bookmark which the page is how to protect yourself so it let people to remember it.
Poster Design
This is a poster design challenge is cannot show the product in this poster and I was figure out who or what things should be replace the eraser and the way I see is a cleaner clean the floor. Hence, I make paper with words big in the visual looks like the floor, then overall is the cleaner as the eraser is clean the paper and with the tagline “Clean your mistake like a pro”.
Acrylic Painting
The title of this acrylic painting is Malaysia Heritage. This scene is mostly we can see in Malaysia hawker centre, and Kopi originating from Malaysia.
